Title: any left arm spinners on this forum ?

Bruce (FattusCattus) used to bowl some SLA, But I beleive he is now swinging it like the sixties.

Is it the wrong 'un? Who knows? The leg break? Maybe! The 'straight oner'? Most likely! I have 11 different variations by name and 2 by result!

yep i too am a slow left arm spinner! its a great being a spin bowler loads of fun. very rewarding too when you set the batter up for the surprise ball and he doesnt pick it!!

I dabbled in a bit of SLC when I was young, but then decided I was rubbish and I could swing it both ways... But I'm thinking of going back to it at indoor nets and see how the ball comes out

I was given a tip tonight about getting more flight/less pace on the ball. When you bowl, throw your right arm up high as you bring it over in the action. Seemed to help even me flight a few without slowing my action.
