Title: What bat is Voges using?
Post by: DaanalSeed on January 26, 2013, 09:40:42 AM
To any Aussies or Sri Lankans watching the game now, what bat is Adam Voges using? It looks like a SafBat to me, but it could be something else. It's definitely not one of the mainstream brands.

Who are they? Never heard of them.

Are you referring to Kingsgrove Sports, or another company?

Beat me to it, i was about to post the same link!

I noticed that the Limited Edition bat has a 18 piece handle. I haven't heard of that in any other bats, has anyone heard of this?

Very nice bats, although heavily concaved at the back which I don't really like myself. They are all made of light clefts, so they look really big but pick up very nicely. I've seen a 2lb 6oz with 40mm edges...

So Meuleman's Grove AV24 is the bat he's using. Here's a video review of the bat, featuring Adam Voges. Seems like an honest bat.

Really nice bats. GN made. They are not exclusive to Meulmans, GCCC had the full range last season.

They are not all concaved. I bought a mid range bat, full profile and its one of the best I've owned. 2.9. They had an AV top of the range bat at one stage; full profile and about 2.7. Super skinny handle. It was amazing.
