Cheers, Jamie. To be honest, the photos aren't the best, but in fairness, Jason doesn't even have any of these softs yet! He is going to have some professional photography done when he gets them later in the week. In the meantime, I am planning to do a little video of them tomorrow, so will link that to this thread...

They look interesting - but are the gloves really only a fiver less than the pads?

Yep, Jason and I finalised the prices this afternoon...

Saw these today at IJC, I may have been the first person in the UK to try on a pair of Hammer pads and gloves :D
The pads are IMO very nice, not the lightest but very well made and would offer top level protection, Gloves were nice but IMO not up to the price tag. Again well made and english pittard palm but no different to what a lot of other forum sponsors offer just £20-£30 more in price. Im sure people will buy them but i think the price needs adjusting on the gloves to arounf £45-£50 to make them competative.

Look nice
Very similar to the Vulcan ones?

Moreover, to Woodstock (Gloves).

How many batting gloves on the market are completely unique though? From where I sit, most gloves are similar to someone else's, so I'm not sure what point you guys are making here?!
-
depends how protective you are of your design and if you came up with it yourself of simply adapted an "off the shelf" design a manufacturer may offer you which is often their preferred and easiest option.

Gloves are gloves are gloves. There's only so many ways to skin a cat.
Most of the time (for a smaller brand especially) the supplier will give you a few samples/pictures which are based on existing products. You can tweak these but most of the time, softs come out very similar.
It's not really time/cost efficient for a lot of brands to design soft gear from the ground up, especially as the margins are slim.

Agreed. Gloves are gloves are gloves
