Lorimers are selling SS Ton bats that have been specially made for them at the incredible price of 99 quid.
Ive seen the similar bats being sold for 150 quid so surely these are excellent value?
If they are made by SS and branded by SS and graded as LE then why do we pay much more for SS blank bats?
I know that Lorimers are a very reputable retailer and have bought plentry of stuff from them over the years so its very possible that they have SS making bats specially for them. What do you guys think and more importantly has anyone bought one. Although these are stock pictures I believe that you can actually go to their shop and choose one of these bats.
Profiles look great but im not keen on their decals, as sad as that sounds so might source some other decals.

I do not live far from there I could look for you if you live far away I guess I was planning looking up there at some stage
-
Definately worth a nosey if they are SS made. Better than buying blind off the net. Ive asked for some pics. 99 quid is a snip if they are LE bats.
-
Aye I once bought a bat from there a different brand
Gary Pratt the guy who ran posting out I think works there and Darrow blenkiron a former Durham player
-
If I'm not mistaken those bats grading is done by Lorimers not SS. So they can grade whatever they wish as an LE.
-
It depends what on the sticker if there still in there cellofane packets they tend to say what model that bat is
-
I am very surprised SS supplying plain bats with SS stamp on it. I thought they stopped supplying plain bats with TON stamps
-
One of our 2nd eleven bought one of these and for the money it is a very very nice stick. Well worth the money mate.

Do you still get them asad

My exprience with Lorimors wasn't good.. but agian I am one of the customr out of 20000 other happy customers. Shape looks a bit different to me for SS bats..

They aren't SS LE, it's just not possible in terms of price.
Lorimers can stick whatever stickers they want on them, they've sneakily chosen black ones and called it an LE to match up with the black of the SS LE.
We sold no end of SS Premiums for £107 in 2012. They were lovely sticks, could easily have been priced much higher. So a good SS stick for £99 is easily achieveable in my opinion.
