Title: strange bat.....

I found this bat over the weekend in a junk shop ,It has an unusual shaped back  and strange looking toe. Not sure about the maker either it has the letter c with a crown above it, is it an old crown sports bat? Not the best looking piece of willow ,but the ping doesn't sound to bad...  anyone have any ideas who its made by?
