As it said on the title, i have a bat which i just took stickers off and refurb it, should i put some new stickers on first or should i oil it, let it dry then put the stickers on???? thanks
-
I would probably oil it first mate, let it dry really well then sticker it up. Get's a nice coat all over then.

It doesn't really matter. Although you may need to give the area that the stickers will cover a light sand if you oil the bat before stickering up.
-
cheers guy, i guess i am going to oil it first then!

Always stickers first. Not only do they stick better but the do their job i.e protect the splice from oil.
Although this isn't really an issue with more and more bat makers/ companies now using PVA glue instead of the traditional animal hide glue.

Sand the bat a bit where you plan to put the stickers to roughen it up, put em on, then oil.
