Having just bought a new bat I'm not sure i need another one (although I'm sure several of you will tell me 7 isn't enough!)
My friend has offered me a GM 303 Purist he's had hiding away in his garage since he gave up playing in 2008. Last time I saw it it had no damage to it, so I'm assuming its still all in one piece.
For £30 is it really worth it, I'm slightly cautious that the willow will have dried out in the time it's been shut away, and being grade 4 willow would it be worth my money to buy it?
Any opinions on this would be much appreciated as I'm really unsure if I should buy it or not.

I wouldn't I bet you could get a newer model 303 new for that price!

I wouldnt bother for £30, especially if you already have 7 which I presume are probably better bats. So would you ever use it? £30 could be spent on something more worthwhile

Two halo 606's have gone for £30 on here recently so bide your time and wait for a better bat on here. 303's new are pretty much firewood anyway!

Also I have just got an MSR netbat for £30 new and on first knock up it seems great!

Didn't someone post a pic of a bat asking what model we all thought it was , looked like a lovely stick and ended up being either a 303 or 404.
The odd great lower model will come along but 99% at that level will be pretty useless i imagine.
