Hello, I am looking for some gloves but dont know what ones yet, I want sausage fingers but dont want to spend heaps per pair? Any ideas? Also is it better to use inners or not?
Thanks

Loads of top quality gloves to choose from just depends which design or colours you like
With inners I've found it's a personal choice as I tried wearing them but did not like it so I just put gloves straight on but I've heard wearing inners may help gloves last longer as sweat not going straight into gloves but not sure as I don't wear them
I know some wear inners as gloves are a little big so they help to fit better

As above really lots out there but you might want to look at the GM 808 gloves they are very good sausage finger gloves for the price. Inners do make your gloves last longer no doubt I don't wear them personally as for me it just does not feel right but they are so cheap just get some and try them.

I use them sometimes, but not always. They're good for picking up sweat but find the often ruck up and am always pulling them back up to the wrist.
They do help the longevity of the gloves, so there are pro's and con's.

I got some lovely sausage finger gloves from Vulcan on here for a great price, english pittard palm as well. Gray Nicolls Maverick 5star are good value as are some of the 2012 kookaburra gloves if you like either of those brands.
Personally i always were inners, the fingerless ones as stops the gloves sweating i use youth size so stops them rolling up as they sit right on the wrist. I also like a real controlled grip of my bat and the inners help me with that.

I never used to wear inners then had a season wearing them, now I can't wear gloves without them, It just feels odd without inners.

Inners for me too. I started wearing them last season too. I just find gloves feel more comfortable with them.
Hard to find decent quality ones, although the Salix ones look good. Gonna get some off Paul and try them out, see if they're as good as they look

Started wearing inners a few years ago and although I'm a little embarrassed to say so, I get mine from sports direct!
Only cost a couple of quid a pair for some slazenger ones but 8 quid lasts me a whole season then just chuck them away. As long as the glove is good quality not sure it matters how good the inners are.

Alright thanks guys. next net sesh I will try out some inners and see what I like. Thanks

Anyone tried out the Chamois inners from Salix? They look a step better than the simple cotton inners offered by everyone else.

Yeah same here, I used to go through gloves at a rapid pace but now with inners there's hardly any wear from 3/4 of a season so far.

Have tried batting with chamois inners but I found that combined with the batting gloves it is too stiff and I didn't feel comfortable with how I was holding the bat. I started off playing using inners but now I just use gloves, I have 3 pairs on rotation so they don't get too badly worn. If I am keeping wicket though I always use chamois and I tape my knuckles on my first and middle fingers. Personal choice really.
