Need a some advice regarding shoes. I'm looking for a rubber soled shoe since we primarily play on artificial pitches, but the option to have spikes while fielding would be nice. I currently wear cross trainers with a good grip, which works ok but if I can find something more suitable, it would be better. Our regular field has fair amount of muddy patches on occasion, so a shoe that's water proof would be a plus. Price point and looks aren't a main concern. Thanks in advance for your recommendations.

What about the puma convertible spikes? You can se them as spikes or rubbers :)

Asics Gel Strike Rates would be my personal choice. But most spikes you can buy rubbers for now so they can be used on artificial pitches.

Asics gel advance are highly recommended and they come with replaceable rubber studs. I use my asics with rubber studs on artificial pitches and they also provide nice grip on the field.
Puma, kookaburra also have similar options.
Where do you guys play?

Thanks for the info. I'll look into these. I was just wondering if there's a significant advantage in getting 100+ cricket vs buying a turf shoe used for soccer/baseball/football?
i2break, home club is in Boise but we play games all over the north west. Where about do you play?
