After a lazy winter break and some travel, made the first bat of 2013 which also has the new ST stickers after months of work.
Bat : 2.9.4 dressed
edge max : 35 mm
Spine max: 58 mm
Profile : low sweet spot, made for an opening batsman who loves to drive the ball.
Also had my first experience of using shinbone during finishing. It really adds nice sheen to the bat.
As usual feedback is highly appreciated!

Looks like a great bat! Keep up the good work!
-
lovely shape, lovely finish and are those new stickers too?
the only thing missing are your usual spectacular pictures!
the recipient of this bat will be delighted.
-
looks like it has a great profile and well made - interesting toe shape or is it the angle?
"Divine Touch" a Valentines day special? :)
-
Thank you All!
It is probably the picture angle, the toe is triangular shaped, with spine running down till the toe.

Thanks Mate. Yes the stickers are new:)
Unfortunately the weather is ugly and it's raining since past two days hence no opportunity to take outdoor photos.
Glad that you liked the bat.

A quick tip - Not sure if you did this but it doesnt look like it. The bone needs to be boiled to remove the marrow and soaked in linseed oil...
I will resist the horse jokes

Thanks for your advice. This cow shin bone was boiled in May 2012 and was kept in linseed oil till now.

Good stuff, like the shape!
One thing i would look at is the profile, if you look at the 1st and 2nd profile shot you can see slight indentations where the willow has been torn. It might be worth sharpening your plane as well as paying a little more attention to the profile sanding.

PS love the new stickers! :D

Thanks for your feedback Ryan. Constructive comments in this forum have always helped me to improve.

Lovely looking bats, nice to see some traditional tools like the shine bone. I have to say, having seen your first couple bats on the forum, that this one is noticeably better, specifically the shape around the toe. Top work!
-
Top work mate. Lovely profile.
Will let you know when I am next in Romania, will meet-up and also get a bat made from you :)

That's a compliment from you Yash as you think my bats are good enough for you.
Thanks!

Marvelous Thakurji . Very nice profile and top class stickers to match them :) . I wonder who came up with the shin bone idea and boiling it followed by soaking in linseed . What would happen if someone skips the soaking in linseed oil step ?.

Thanks for the feedback. The old stickers aren't discontinued, just wanted a bit bolder and brighter stickers as some of my buyers requested.
-
Very nice bat mate. Classy looking stickers as well.
-
I like the stickers - very regal looking!

No problem, its always hard to get perfect unless you have expensive sanding equipment. I've noticed a massive difference in my bats, especially as my technique/ tools etc have improved.
Keep at it, everydays a school day. Especially when you've lots of helpfull, knowledgeable people on here :D

Top stuff as always mate! As uknsaunders said, prefer the old stickers. The new ones are nice, but I find they take your attention away from the willow too much.

top stuff! like the profile and finish looks good
