I have a bat here that is completely undressed. I have measured the edges and the spine, and weighed it. It is a long blade. The edges are 40mm, and spine is 60mm. The pictures are below, missing the handle as the handle has a weigh written on it.
But the question is, what do you think it weighs?

that toe needs a bit of work to be even. Guessing at 2'9, depends if it's gripped and bound.

2lb 6 and a half

Undressed (as mentioned in the original post)... Handle bound
-
Due to the concaving and the sharp angle the spine falls away at the toe and also no grip or stickers I'd say 2lb7oz

Nah, it doesn't. It's balanced fine without making changes.
-
I would say 2'10, finishing around 2'11/2'12

2.8?

2'7

2.5

I'd take it back.
One side is defo thicker than the other!
Does it feel balanced?
I'll go for 2lb 8

2lb 12

Not too bothered about how it looks. It is balanced, and as that is post weight loss I'm fine with it.

2lb 6

It comes in on my scales at 2lb 5.4oz. It's amazingly light for a long blade.
-
Very similar Tim to a bat that just came back from Dom to me
-
Do you think t might be a bit too dry then, Tim? Suprised to hear you say it was so light.
-
I'd guess it is much less dry than people think. With two thickish grips and an antiscuff, it weighs in at 2lb 10.1oz... With stickers it will be just under 2lb 11oz.
-
Fair enough.
-
Tim, Any chance of a pic of the full bat front and profile? intrigued...

Here are some fuller pictures of the bat. It's awaiting a new set of stickers...

No, that's the Lekka Xtrax HAndle...

And here we have the bat in its full livery, where it weighs in at 2lb 10.3oz and after the net tonight, I can confirm that stickers really do improve ping ;). The stickers cam from eBay and do seem to be real.

looks good mate.
didnt know the shoulders were cut off! otherwise my guess would be hav been even closer!
-
Well I've netted with this a few times and it is a magnificent beast. I swear it is going brilliantly, although it might be that regular netting is helping. Still, nothing like a cheaper reshaped bat. I think it is one of my best!
-
I've used it and it's yummy.
I llove a shoulderless, and it picks up lighter than the dead weight suggests.
