Nice work. I've got one to give you to do next week, now that you are Ryan's work-experience boy!

The scoops out of the back were just concaved out mate the bat was pretty big so plenty of wood to play with. Ryan showed me what to do then I got on with it. Was bit hard on the back where the Knott is so had to get Ryan to smooth out the chunks I made then I sanded it and buffed it. Its still decent weight at 2.12 fully dressed. Its a lot harder then he makes it look :( gonna use it nets today as not sure I wanna sell it unless I get a decent offer as its a lovely bat

Nice pictures simmy.  That bat looks completely different now and the pickups been improved dramatically. I'll have to get you something more challenging to do!

Good work. What was the initial weight of the bat, to level out the scoops a lot of weight should have been reduced.

it was 2.12 naked before ( no grip or stickers)

now its 2.12 with stickers grip and scuff

Excelent work.. hardly 1-2 ounces difference in weight, if you consider the weight of stickers, grip and scuff.
