I decided that I needed a new bat for the 2013 season, I had no hesitation that the way to go was BB.
I eventually went for a custom Lam and I was not disappointed.
Specs
Weight: 2.12
Concaving: No concavity
Edge: 40mm
No heart wood
Clean and straight grains 8-9 grains
One thing that strikes me about the bat is the ping of it. The sound of the mallet has such a soft sound if you know what I mean.
I usually use around 2.9 but decided this season I need something heavier as I've been on the weights;). The pickup is quite remarkable if I must say. I am not going but it does feel like a 2.9 to me, the credit must go to the unknown bat maker of bb bats.
I can not describe the shear love I have for this bat because I am certain this bat should get me some huge sixes.
What a coincidence that the day it arrives, I have nets?
I am slightly disappointed that I won't be able to use it.
P.s this was a brief review more of a first thoughts of it.
