I have a pair of Puma 4000 air's I really like, is it woirth the refacng or to just buy a new pair?
If so where could i get it done?
-
Could do em yourself, rubber is available from Serious cricket or John Copus, who I think now works for someone, there was a thread on this a while ago mate.
Some people might say Its not worth it but my view is if there a favourite pair do it.
You could do it like Jack Russell, just stick the rubber on as a complete sheet then cut round it.
'Barking' mad. check out his masterclass on you tube and you'll see what I mean

Should have read that John Copus re faces gloves not he provides the rubber, sorry :)

Ok cheers mate, just come across his website so may give him a call, if not il go jack russell style!
-
sorry to bring this back up, but does anyone know anywhere else that sells replacement palms for keeping gloves?
I know serious cricket sold them, but dont seem to have them anymore, or I cant find them anyway, want to re-vamp a pair of old favourites

I'd try Hunts County Bats mate.
Uncle Tony usually has a treasure trove of secrets stashed away, I'm sure pimple/octopus rubber sheeting would be sitting around in a box somewhere.

Ok thanks, I shall get in touch with them
