Title: Toe Guards
Post by: chaudhari21 on February 27, 2013, 07:20:02 PM
I got question. Every year I seem to lose toe guards off of my bat. I was also told by a dealer the certain bat companies are not going to even put them on because people are so worried about it effecting the weight. I have seen many other products that I have tried and failed.  Does any one use anything which can be a replacement for a toe guard? or a type of glue that will make sure the toe guards will stay on. I live in the U.S so certain products are tough to get a hold of.

Thanks

Effecting the weight!? Think about it this way, go out to bat without a toe guard, then half way through your innings tape a toe guard to the back of the bat. Will you feel the difference! You are best off getting one with a factory fitted toe guard, then when it starts to come off, use your own glue on it.

Got it perfect. I will give it a shot. Is there a special way I need to put in on or just put it on like glue?

I agree with you that is what I typically do but once they come off and I replace them with my own types of glue they always come off that is why I was looking for an alternative.
