At least it is clear... Do you think it's fair?

declaring a no ball is not fair for bowler i feel..  i think, it should be declared a dead ball to be fair..

why should it be a dead ball?  the bowler has run up and delivered a ball which was not legal, I think a penalty is entirely fair.

if the batsman breaks the stumps at his end, he's out.

I agree with this as should be penalised as should not be happening as said of batsmen hits stumps he's out not dead ball

Doesnt feel like a perfect solution, but I can't think of anything that would work better!

There was a simple solution which Finn missed. He should have appealed every time he hit the stumps and tried to claim a mankad...

actually, given he did sometimes hit em with his hand (though mostly the trailing knee) that might have been right sometimes...

I agree with this as I know how distracting it can be!
We will just have to see how Finn resolves his current problem!

Does anyone know if this type of No Ball results in a free hit?

I thought a free hit was only awarded for a front or back foot violation, so I would assume not.

Dying laughing in a team meeting looking at this.
