i cn hardly see a crack.. it more of looks like a dent.. I don't think you have to worry..
-
minor issue only
i guess remove the edge tape
and fill the crack with glue ...use the thin super glue if its a very thin crack
if its a thick one then use a regular wooden glue
and then put a new tape
-
take the tape of and check just in case
-
'tis but a scratch!
If you're worried about the life of the bat then cut that bit of tape, glue it with superglue and whack a slice of new tape over the existing stuff.
If you're all about the aesthetics, then take all the tape off, glue, sand and retape, but that seems like a lot of work for a minor ding.
-
Personally, I'd just ignore it... If after another use, it spread, then I might put tape around the area where it is damaged.
-
Thanks guys, i will be checking the crack - dent in next matches, hope it doesnt spread....
Cheers from Panama...

That is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Just put some tape over it again. Maybe a bit of a sand for piece of mind, but otherwise fine.

sand should do maybe fill with glue
