Title: ST - Kohli's bat profile
Post by: mad_abt_cricket on March 10, 2013, 08:08:21 AM: Made this bat for a player from Bulgarian National team from light density cleft.

Weight : 2.79 without stickers and grip
Edge max : 36 mm ( edge max covers quite a bit of middle with this profile)
Spine Max : 55 mm
Minimum concaving.
Grains : 18
Toe thickness : 24 mm
Shoulder Thickness : 14 mm

The bat is easily the biggest I have made so far, the edge max is pretty much constant through the middle, toe has bit left thicker than normal and lots of wood at the spine near the shoulders.

I'm just very sceptical about the term that's all, as I said earlier you do get different clefts at different weights but I wouldn't use that phrase that's just me. I just wondered when does a light cleft becomes a low density cleft, what's the difference between them? Aren't they the same?

You are right Tushar as SS makes Kohli's bat the difference being much less concaving and higher spine as compared to usual SS.
