that is 3-12 current weight can get a pound out and just over but I find the best are a few oz under that to get the best out of a piece of wood, that's my feeling anyway others may disagree

If your unsure of the nature of the clefts guys they are all pressed to a certain feel to get into the supreme range and vintage range. This is the feel that I had always had when I picked up the best bats of mine and other players in my playing days. The gold and silver sovereigns are then graded from there. But the sovereign range are great bats too as they sometimes have the performance but may not have enough grains or may have too severe a mark in them to make the top ranges. I know the grains are very much an attraction but doesn't always make the best bat. I always look to generate the best response and feel from each bat for each customer and every one of you are different in what they want. It is where I feel not only my professional playing knowledge comes in but also my years of experience coaching all levels of cricketer. I love to convert that knowledge into a product that is growing stronger in reputation by the day.

M&h distinction you mean? They are not too far off our shape to be honest we just add some scrolling work on them to give them a distinctive shape of our own

True! Problem is i've already brought 5 bats this season :(

You obviously haven't found the right one. Once you do you'll never go back they become your friend for life
-
i think i just like collecting nice looking bats and then tend to rotate them during the season!

Here's a couple more going out. Chads supreme in a vintage profile and a gold sovereign for a local guy
