I have always been very open with helping people with anything I learn and use for making bats but I am keeping this to my self for the moment I am afraid for the only reason this is going to help set mine apart and its cost a lot of money and time to get to this stage. It's nothing new to the world but has taken a lot of time and listening to some great craftsmen that I have known through my working life. I hope you all understand.

Lovely work Paul.. I believe you were distinct from other brands here right from the start.. The shape, stickers and now finishing all are top notch.. It's just that now you have decided to come and showcase your talent aggressively..

what's the edge/toe/spine height on that beauty Paul?

Aggressive?

Not sure to be honest on that one but they are generally somewhere around the 35-40mm edges and 60-70mm spine depending on weight. I like to have bigger spine heights than edges to be honest as this is the are we want to hit the ball.

Aggressive?
I think he meant regularly? I don't think it is aggressive at all, these things are well worth showing and it's great to see Paul still willing to learn new things to provide the very best product and service he can. He has certainly moved along very well since the new year, with the Stretton-Fox partnership and now with the improved finishing, I don't think I have seen many brands progress this much over such a short time.
Great stuff Paul! :)

Well guys I am afraid it's habit. It took me 7 years to get a go at county cricket playing over 30 trial games before getting a contract most young cricketers play half a dozen before they get a go. I believed I had it in me to have a go then once I did I had to move and learn quickly. I was never the best but I did achieve far more than I ever thought I would getting in the game at 26 yrs old. Strangely this career is having the same effect and I am determined to give it the best I can, have fun doing it and see where it goes you never know I may become one of the leading players in the field but if you don't put yourself out there you'll never know. Keep the bats rolling out.

If you look in the sovereign post from earlier you will see. Gold sov I shaped up this afternoon for a mate of mine who plays some club cricket. It's not sanded yet and in its current state is 2-6 in weight will be 2-8 when dressed
