Title: GM Flare Original - 1000th Post Prize!
Post by: farnham_quins_2 on March 16, 2013, 06:30:53 PM: Just thought I'd share some pics of the flare I received during the week from Jake. And just say thanks to him once again!

Haven't used it in a net yet, plan on using it tomorrow. I've tapped it up a bit with a mallet this afternoon and ping is good, feels very nice.
It weighs 2lb 10.9oz with a second grip on. I'm not a big fan of the GM grip, prefer the hybrid style.
Grains are very nice, 8 of them which are evenly spaced and straight.
I quite like the profile too. Mid-high middle, no concaving, traditional shape. Compared it to a Lithium at IJC today (sorry Jake ;)) and shape is very similar, and I'm quite a fan of the Lithium.

Summer? What is summer..? Doesn't look like it's gonna be here any time soon! More snow in Wales and Scotland...madness. Really doesn't put me in the mood for cricket.
