Normal pro's well 80 per cent use a similar weight does anybody know the weight or think they know the weight of brendon mcallum's bats
I think we all have a idea of the maker but anybody know the weight
Strange but just a idea for me
-
I would be interested as well. His bat speed is lightening quick, I can't think of another player who would match it.
-
I'am very tempted to get a copy of his i guess his bat sponsor sticker is a sure give away...
-
I'm not as clued up as you guys, who do you think it might be?
-
I heard that he has the blade 1" shorter than a normal SH - which could aid the quickness of his hands.
-
I not going to speculate just wanted to know the weight speculation is wrong but the sticker on the back and the toe and shoulders look like a maker and it has been discussed many times
My blades are 1inch smaller so this could be a possibility
-
Does anyone have any pics of said bat?
-
look at crickinfo pictures there one or two there
-
Definitely a shorter blade, When they use stump cam you can see in comparison to him the bats a shorter one.
-
Looks like quite a pronounced counter balance going on on the handle?
-
How many rubber/corks springs do puma have nowadays
-
Back on topic i think about 2-7 to 2-8 max...
-
I'm going 2lb10.5oz Just a feeling.
-

That sh on the handle reminds me of that Kohli bat Dave

I agree McCullum's bat does stand out from rest of the NZ team. I still have no idea who makes it for , I am hoping it's one of the sponsors based there.
My guess is 2.9 - 2.10. A closer view

He gets his bats made by two guys as far as I know. Two springs for a stiff handle and the blade is a little shorter. He picks them on feel rather than a definitive weight as well. There's a few the same, he's more bothered about the handle shape and 'whip' than what the bats look like etc. Theres loads of bats in robs workshop for big pros who mention the handle before anything else.
