Some of the pics make the blade look shorter... Can you measure the blade length? Just curious. Or maybe they only look that way on my iPad

I have no idea the blade length on any of my bats

The blade is standard length. Just the way the pics are taken.

You may be right ... KG guys call it pro grade willow.
I thought oversized cleft and  lightweight cleft may be one and the same
This bat is as big as my lekka RDX big hitter , but weighs 4 oz less and is of standard SH dimensions

I would say lightweight cleft then. I have a couple of bats that are 2-3oz lighter than the machined dimensions were supposed to bring them out to.

An oversized cleft is typically 70mm+ in spine height, as wrights don't produce a cleft bigger.

I love my kg mate I think sourced by yourself.

Mine is a big piece of timber too and after it re balance and reduction still came

That looks nice

Something of a whopper...Though like some I look at al these 2'8 beasts and wonder what the hell it would look like at a 'proper' weight of 2'11 ;) Probably just no concaving but still.

Makes you think how much of it is drying and how much is genuine low density willow. Only time will tell...

My kg is overdried for sure I will be honest as are most of my big Ss bats I have had.
They will go well but I doubt there going to last mate

The finish on kg is stunning as well like a glass mirror

Mine is 2'11 in the pro grade willow and is almost just as big as the 3lb H4L monster (which is massive to begin with)...First impression it did look dried but when I oiled it took forever to drink even the first coat, I suspect if anything they bleach their baldes a little bit rather then over dry them..
