Now that this terrible bag is surplus to requirements, this gave me great joy today! 8)
Also, take this thread as my final plea to AVOID buying this particular "stand-up" bag...

I have the model up from that one and it is pretty solid, Lasted two years now. But I have heard a few mention the lower end ones have been useless.
What have you replaced it with Paul?
-
What you going with now then mate?
-
It's a (much better) large wheelie bag by a new brand. I'll update this thread when they've gone live, and will also link the video review we did for it...
-
Can I take a guess at Hammer? I remember seeing a post on the FB page.
-
No, Matt, it's not Hammer. We don't stock the brand, actually...
-
ahh. I fancy seeing the Hammer bags. See what their take on the bag market is like.
I look forward to seeing the pictures of your new bag. Is it a similar type of stand up to the old Aero one?
-
Yes, but this one actually stands up! It's slightly bigger too (100cm x 42cm x 42cm). It's a very good bag, and an incredibly good price point as well! :)
-
Really wierd that you've had that experience with AERO Paul - my bigger one has been absolutely wonderful!
-
Stop teasing Paul...you know I love a bag...
-
I'd hope so, Iain! A bag with an £120 RRP had better be good really! Strange that they have two different stand-ups. It's apparent which one they've devoted more time and attention to...
-
Agreed - but even taking into account the RRP its a very, very impressive bit of kit.
Mind you, have seen a couple of the smaller ones as well and they seem to be reasonably good, so surprised you hated it quite so vehemently!
-
One thing I've realised fairly recently is I like my bag to be organised. And the Aero one couldn't be less organised if it tried. The new one, however... :D
-
I am eagerly anticipating this super bag.
-
To be fair, I have the black and silver Aero Tour bag and it is on it's second/third season now.
Fingers crossed it lasts a while yet although those large Salix bags look rather gorgeous! 8)
-
Paul, apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but are you stocking the M&H T1 bag?
(And for that matter, any of the new Masters around 2'11ish Wouldnt mind seeing one in the flesh!?)
-
Dan - I believe he is mate, and there will be a video review of it shortly as far as I know.
-
Paul said he was going to M&H on Friday if I remember, so guess there will be more details after that? (correct me if I'm wrong Paul)
-
Yes, Dan, to both questions! Going to Taunton on Friday to hand-pick all our new M&H bats...
-
Paul whilst you're there, see if they have any more Puma M&H stickers there, as per the ones on my bat in my avatar
-
The most useful thing ive found of the Aero is the little bag and the washbag. Ive got so fed up with the Aero Standup i reverted back to my albion duffle last season and carried my whites/training kit and boots in two separate bags.
I found that a set of batitng pads and keeping pads dont fit that well in the main compartment, the seperater wont close properly and once the helmet is in the top part there isnt much room for other stuff. Its also a nightmare getting kit out when its laid flat liek a regular bag.
Looking at a new bag for this season - might go for Kook Players or maybe just a puma bag as they tend to be a lot less complicated i.e just one big compartment and maybe an end pocket
