I dropped my iPhone the other day and the screen smashed into a million pieces. Still completely useable just worried that the face of it may start to fall out - so I had an idea to use a section of Helicopter scuff sheet as a screen protector and it works perfectly. It's probably not as good as actual screen protectors you can get as it's got a slight matte texture to it which makes the screen ever so slightly dull but at least my phone is now protected against any possible cricket ball damage.

That's a good idea mate!

Maybe use the bulldog performance enhancing scuff sheets so that when you drop it next time, it bounces higher!

You should have used a self healing one.

Sounds like your screen was over-dried.

I didn't get a chance to knock it in either.

There goes you trying to claim on the warranty. If you haven't taken the appropiate steps.

Did you try PVA glue and clamp it?

He must've "Called" for a quick single when he dropped it :D...this is shameless...

It was quite softly pressed then?!
