You may recall a couple of weeks ago I posted asking if i could make my own training bat and make up the additional weight with some lead. Today I decided to give it a go. I now own the most stupid training bat ever, but it went as well as I had expected.
Started with an old woodworm that has seen better days

Top effort mate, how much does it weigh?

Got it up to about 2lb8 now. Without the lead it was 1lb13 which was too light to have any benefit if I used it in the nets.
