Title: Gray Nicholls Pro Performance

Anybody got opinions on these. From the looks of the they have very few bars on the grill which should improve visibility. Is that right?

Wouldn't that have some effect on the protection? There would be less stability which could result in weaker protection I would think

There are the same amount of bars as on a Masuri, and if GN sponsored players use them, they have to be good quality.
But I'd still much prefer a Masuri or Albion, they're streets ahead of the rest in terms of protection and quality.

I have the Ti one of these, the visibility is muchbetter than my Albion but one of the Ti side bars came off when the helmet was in my bag so i sent it back and now use the steeel grille which probably gives better protection.

my mate had a gray nicholls helmet, but when he went to sweep a spinner the ball popped up and hit the side of the helmet, its now got a massive crack down the side and he cant use it anymore, i would have thought a helmet should not break after such little impact as this...
