Shocking news hope he pulls through

Thats a shame, really an exciting cricketer that has wasted his talent. I dont think theres ever been a better name for a cricketer than Jessie Ryder.

Shocking. Unfortunately Jesse is regularly provoked & hassled out in public, I've seen it first hand.

Shocking news! Wishing Jesse a speedy recovery.
-
desparatley hoping he pulls thou but it's bleak at the moment
reports say there were 3 or 4 blokes who attacked him
hope the CCTV proves worthwile here
he's bit in a fair bit of bother in the past but only hurt himself, you gotta ask where were his mates or some sort of bodyguard
he's a target for any peed up bunch of idiots
-
Hope he recovers soon.
-
Really good batsmen too, lets just hope he does recover quickly!
-
This is not good and doesn't reflect well. I hope he recovers, seems to be fairly serious though.
-
Shocking, absolutely shocking. I know he's had troubles before but it sounds like he was brutally attacked by a group of people. I hope they're all locked up soon with the key thrown away.
-
I am not sure what his mates were doing, if anyone ever jumped one of my team mates I know we would all either go down with him or bury the attackers in the ground.....life is more important than cricket and if Jesse doesn't recover how will his mates live with themselves for the rest of their lives?
-
I very much doubt they would have left him to it mate, he may have been isolated when it happened. Hope they string the bastards up
-
Trouble seems to follow him around, I wouldn't ever wish this upon anyone but we can't know if it was completely unprovoked, he must have issues walking away from confrontations before they get hostile which says to me his mates aren't really helping him out.

Most reports state it started inside the bar where Jesse was with his mates, even if he wasn't there are so many people around and no one tried to help!! I have seen many a fights here and if there are no bouncers around (we have a lot them everywhere) then people jump in and break it up....
I really do hope they get those guys and lock them up, even if it is Jesse's fault it give no one any right to beat someone into a pulp and potentially leave them damaged for the rest of their life...
-
This is looking really bad as he is in an induced coma. I really hope he pulls through and would love to see the reception he gets when he walks out to bat again. Get well soon big fella, a proper entertainer and an old school, pie and beer cricketer.
-
reports seem to be suggesting that he is recovering well. hope to see him on a cricket field again and soon.

Sounds as if he's making good progress
