Happy Easter boys,
Looking for the best sort of tape to emphasise the oval shape on my handle. Any suggestions tips welcomed.
Cheers darlings x

I use zinc oxide, a bit like a stretchy Elastoplast tape

Cheers mate, about to message you on facebook

you can also use a plaster type tape as well, but the zinc oxide stuff is good! Also hockey stick repair tape which is a similar type of tape to the zinc stuff

bit of rubber taped to back of the handle ;)

Anybody got some unused rubbers??? ;)

Only some gossamer thin one's!

You don't want it too thick as you'll lose the feel.

I just use hockey tape (Ice Hockey as you would know it), works well.

Since getting a bat with a round, thin and whippy handle I’ve attached a finger save spine from a goalkeeper glove down the bottom half of the handle under the grip. It makes the handle oval in shape for the bottom hand and as the spine only bends in one direction it strengthens the handle at impact but allows flexibility in the direction of the hit. Made a noticeable difference to the performance without losing feel.
Honest ;)

Insulating tape, cut into strips on the top and bottom of the handle to create the oval effect and possibly wrapped around a few times. Next time I see you I'll show you my Ayrtek grip setup.

I have used this padded tape before now:
