lovely piece of wood, looks like the handle could of done with a bit more rasping to me ? Apart from that looks good mate! HUGE Toe! what is the moisture content of the willow like? that is a big bit of wood for 2"8 at this time of year!
-
It looks heaps bigger than 38mm... Looks massive
-
Thanks Mate, the cleft has not been dried or processed in any way. Just among one of the lighter clefts I have.
-
this looks seriously lovely. I really like the shape and the graping on the face.
I would definitely use this bat :)
-
what a lovely cleft it is! very lucky to have something that bit that is light where do you pick your clefts from ?
-
looks bigger than 38mm !! Very huge for that 2.8 weight, that is a rare cleft you've got mate.
-
lovely shape
-
Thank you all. This bat is up for grabs as I will put up a separate post on the sale section.
-
great looking bat!

what level do you have to get to to be able to access the sale section ?
-
I think more than 50 worthy posts.
-
ok thanks !
-
Bat on the shape front looks phenominal, as for willow I would guess grade 2?
-
I would grade it above than standard grade 1 as hard to find such light clefts. The cleft gives a lovely sound from the mallet as well.
-
Ridiculous profile. Were I to see that on any given Saturday I would christen it, the railway sleeper. Top job.
-
the profile on that is immense.
-
That looks a great bat, lovely profile and loads of wood in it for the weight of the bat
-
Could easy lose another 1oz out of the toe of that!
Looks a lovely shape.
-
Looks a nice profile and as if the pickup would be a bit tasty. Keep up the good work!
