Ok here are a few grade 3 bats ready to be stickered up and off to a customer in America. The white grips are regular Aldred shapes and the 2 black grips are just slightly different. As with grade 3s you get a few marks on them and not such nice grains but they feel absolute beauties. They range from 2-8 to 2-12

Second from left looks a beauty!
-
Yes it does they all feel great though in performance. That's the thing with grade threes that the looks aren't always quite there but the performance is fantastic

I was thinking that too.
Is the pick up the same with the new shape Paul?
-
Stunning bat's as per usual Paul, top work!
-
Possibly better. It is one thing that I feel is incredibly important in a bat is the pick up. I am so happy and proud of the bats and kit we are producing at the moment and we are moving in baby steps but we are looking at longevity in our business and that to me means quality in product and service. We have just had our new track suit samples arrive today too. Same material as the top asics track suits with our look to them will post some pics soon. These will be available to clubs with their emblem on. They look great with our made by humans logo on the sleeve

I've only picked up one bat made by yourself Paul and without false flattery the pick up was astonishing. It weighed around 2-9 fully dressed and picked up far lighter than 2-6, 2-7 bats that I have.
-
Great work Paul! It seems like there is less sloping of the edges towards the shoulder on this new shape. Does it have a slightly lower spine and less concaving? Any change in the middle position?
-
Yes that's correct cys the spine heights vary slightly still very high depends on 1 the weight of the bat ordered and 2 the density of the cleft. Obviously we try and use specific weight of cleft to suit each specific order. Middles are large and the height can be moved accordingly but find the new shapes have a large enough middle to accommodate most wickets and styles of player.
