When you go into your backlift do you cock your wrist or do you just lift your bat normally. I just lift it normally and didn't even tink about this untill i saw it on crickety am i just wondered is this thew correct way to go into your backlift.

If you cock your wrist it helps the top hand domainate, therefore its easier to play straight.

yeah but if that ball moves late your gone. thats why ponting got out to sharma so many times

I may seem very stupid here but what do you mean by cocking your wrists?
-
stiffening the wrist so you can keep a straighter bat reducing the turn of the bat when contact between the fast moving ball.
