I'm after a set of wooden spring back stumps, and I'm after guidance on what makes are the best and most robust. I've had sets in the past but they tend to snap or break regularly. So any reccommendations based on your experiences for a decent set would be appreciated.
I have a set of Fusion stumps already, before anyone suggests using those instead, they don't sound as good when you bowl someone though!

I've got a set of G&M spring backs that have lasted me a good few years now and are still in great condition , may be worth having a look around for them :)!

i have a really good set of Wooden Kook ones

We have Dukes ones, Illuminus orange stumps

Thanks for the recommendations, I've had good reports about the Kooks stumps, a team mate said he would only buy Kooks ones. The GMs look a substantial set also.
Would be interesting to know if spring back stumps are ash as per normal stumps or are an inferior wood. Maybe that's why I've had problems with alot of spring stumps.

kook ones are top quality stumps, mine were about £35 off the top of my head

Has anyone tried gray nicolls stumps? What are they like?

Bought the Kook stumps, mainly because Amazon Warehouse were selling some off for £15 due to their boxes being damaged, thought that was a bargain with the free supersaver delivery as well.
Really impressed with the build quality on first impressions, hopefully they will prove to be durable. Stumps are as new and in perfect condition, as Amazon said only the box was damaged.
Amazon Warehouse still had some left when I last looked.
