Title: IPL Grille
Post by: tinno87 on April 10, 2013, 09:47:55 AM
At this years IPL, there seems to be a lot of Grill's looking like last years Ultimate 98 being used. Ricky Ponting using it here...http://img.ibtimes.com/www/data/images/full/2013/04/06/359683-ricky-ponting-sachin-tendulkar-mumbai-indians.jpg (http://img.ibtimes.com/www/data/images/full/2013/04/06/359683-ricky-ponting-sachin-tendulkar-mumbai-indians.jpg)

Any ideas where this can be bought or whether it can be? trying to buy just the ultimate 98 grille is virtually impossible

Hmmm, I don't think they are Albion Grille's, the ear guards are different and the metal is a different shade...

I think you need to trust Tom, who deals in helmets for a living.

There looks to be next to no difference.

the ear pads colour is interchangeable as we have grey, black and red version of them from a few years back downstairs. The grills can also be left "natural" as per what Ponting is wearing is the above or powder coated as per the one we have for sale.
