Title: T20 problems
Post by: jimster on April 12, 2013, 03:14:36 PM
When watching T20 cricket i always expect from the start for there to be big hits, 6's and 4's and for them to continue throughout the match, but i find when a team looses 2 or 3 wickets early on the whole innings then becomes rather dull and boring to watch. Id rather watch test cricket as it shows a lot more skill where as in T20 when the game becomes dull is become VERY dull. Is this just me or do other people think the same?

I'm with you mate.

Personally, I love it when it rains and it get's cut to 10 overs. Carnage from ball 1

Yeah or super overs! Its just when a few wickets a fall the batsmen have to calm down and rebuild the innings which is so dull as there are no mini battles like you find in test, its all average

The batsmen go from T20 mode to ODI mode and it gets a little repetitive (like the middle overs of 50 over matches). All sports get situations where things can fall flat (e.g. the last minute of a basketball game, anything but the first lap of an F1 race etc.)
