Title: Socks - Horizon vs 1000 Mile
Post by: Howzat on April 17, 2013, 11:07:19 AM
What socks do people prefer? Personally I've been using Horizon for the past few years however they seem to wear out quite quickly and my toe often ends up going through the end! Anyone used both? Are 1000 mile socks any better?

I've got horizon test and never really liked then that much to be honest. I've also got some kook socks and they're great, far comfier and better than the horizons in my opinion.

When I was younger I remember having to tape up my feet to avoid blisters when I bowled a long spell but no chance of that now with the kook socks and asics boots.

With modern cricket shoes being very much running shoe based, there is no need for thick socks such as these in my opinion, unless you are a quick bowler.

I use the Kookaburra Air Tech socks than Graham mentioned, they are brilliant.
