He is good on his day, but given the choice I'd take Hussey on my team every time.
I really think that the Aussies will miss him badly!!

Weight of vice captaincy off his shoulders already paying dividends...

In all honesty though, good to see him making runs even if it is in baseball..er I mean T20

Agreed about hussey being chosen ahead of him, but Watson can destroy any team on his day !

Has all the tools to be a great player but it hasn't clicked for him yet.

So can most international players - I'm sure even Shane himself would admit that his days are about as frequent as tube trains on the weekend...

Watson was not performing when they played against India now all of a sudden he makes a 60 ball hundred. It's a bit weird !

No it isn't...... he's suddenly playing mediocre bowling and can dominate!

Against CSK the bowlers were the same as against India that gave them a tough time. Ashwin and Jadeja !

Can't remember where, but was reading an article about him being the most 'average' batsman to ever open for aus. Could ague that that statement is true, can score runs against some net bowlers, but when the chips are down, when was the last big test 100 he made?
