Title: English Willow (Nurtered in India)
Post by: anthonyant on July 30, 2009, 02:26:18 PM
Looking at some prices it seems that grade 4 EW is still worth more than G1 NI
I was wondering why this is the case. I could see that it would be cheaper than G1 and maybe even G2 but not G4
What is everyone elses view on this?

G4 EW is more expensive because its grown in england. EWNI is english willow, but grown in india, and is not worth as much. G4 EW is definately different from EWNI. I know what I am trying to say, but its hard to explain the difference. Its all about the growing conditions in the 2 countries.

I have brought a few G4 bats and the quality isnt bad and you can certainly tell the difference between EWNI and G4 EW.

There's no such thing as EWNI, it's top grade Kashmir Willow. Top KW costs less than a G4 Cleft.
