This one I made for luke thomas a unicorns player who I have coached since he was a young lad. I have just thinned the handle a little for him. It's 2-9 un gripped he is normally a 2-7 2-8 man but this picks up like 2-7 it is an absolute gun

Hi Paul, what's the dimensions of the bat, toe/edge/spine wise. Is there much concaving? Always interesting to see how much different a bat in first class use is to our normal bats.
Top work!

What I make is pretty uniform for everyone I make as I make the same quality bats for all. The middle position just alters slightly. The only thing I notice now is the first class players are tending to have lower middles especially for one day stuff. I will put some pics up in a mo of another that Tom Jewell of Surrey has had made with a elongated middle. He is quite tall though and uses standard sh bat and finds he hits the ball lower on the blade so we did this for his one day stuff predominantly .
