A lad brought his bat to me that he had last year with a fallawn look on his face, he had broke his favourite ever bat. Most of the pieces were there so we put it into intensive care and closely monitored its recovery.

what a lovely job, and beautiful bat - would you be tempted to put a scuff sheet over it to protect it a bit more?

I thought this. Looks a top job though I must admit. What would happen if you applied a scuff and then came to take it off? Would half the bat come with it?!

Yes anti scuff will be applied just showed the pics after it had been sanded. Fibreglass tape will also be applied as extra protection. Try using a hair dryer to remove scuff sheets. It softens the adhesive and stops it pulling the wood away with it. I will put some pics on when its got some on.
