I've gone and done it, I've bought the 303 purist I mentioned a while back (wet weather bat and I love the shape)
As its not been used for about 6 years what shall I do before using it?? Just a bit of oil or do I need to do a bit more?
Thanks in advance guys :)

Apparently you should re knock un used / used bats in.

After already knocking one bat in this year my neighbours will love me! :D

the bat has probably dried out but the one thing I would not do if drown it in oil even if is has dried
oil kills the bat if too much is put on
if it still has a good middle yr lucky,i would tape the weak areas(edges/toe), a bit of oil and hope for the best, hopefully it will last :)

As I'm getting it for next to nothing if it doesn't last long it won't be the end of the world

My old dried out Kookaburra Bubble (7 years old) had about 10 good nets after a refurb before it lost its ping, enjoy it whilst it lasts!!!
