where did you get those from :O
-
Black spikes!!!! Why didn't you go for the white and blue they are awesome! : o
-
need some white laces in those Puma's
-
I'm sure they're awesome spikes but BLACK? I hope your tucking your trousers into your socks to complete that 'village' look!!!
I'd wear the Puma's you have...they look classy.
-
Sorry can't imagine myself or anyone on my team turning up on a saturday wearing black shoes.
Perfectly fine if you have coloured kit, but not with whites.
-
Guys
The nike shoes are really comfortable and I really enjoyed my first game in them. Personally I like the look as it goes really well with my over all batting gear
-
Each to their own mate, if you like them then none of our views matters!
I think they will grow on me however I have to agree with others, white spikes is the way forward!
Loving them puma Evo speeds though mate!
-
how did you aquire these mate?

Not when you get fined every time you play in non-white footwear...

Even if you don't get fined it looks so village most people are put off doing it!
-
My side would definitely fine me for wearing them.....I'm amazed they are even legal for cricket....wasn't there some issues with the red coloured Puma's a while back?
It doesn't matter whether they are the greatest spikes on the planet you still look like you forgot your shoes and have had to borrow some at the last minute from the groundsman's son!

Speaking of the groundsman, his tin of paint for marking the wicket would sort them out quickly enough! ;)

We each have our own preference and I personally think these shoes are really comfortable as evidenced by a number of players wearing them in the IPL. I am sure these big guns would not where these shoes if they were crap. Choice of black rather then white was a personal choice as my grand dad use to wear boring white shoes. Time and cricket has since progressed .

No one has said they are poorly made or uncomfortable. I wear Nike spikes myself. What we're saying is that black shoes look 'village' at best! :D I also wouldn't take 'being worn in the IPL' as anything other than a sign of how big the marketing budget of a particular company is. :D

We get fined if we wear black socks let alone black footwear!
-
nothing beats fines in cricket
-
it's just about acceptable for them to wear them in the ipl because they dont play in whites, I wouldnt wear them if you paid me to
The puma's on the other hand are alot nicer
-
I plan to swap them around during the season. I do have to say when it came to my club half of them were shocked ( Old school crickters ) and half really liked them so 50 50 .
Hope fully they will bring me good runs this year. :)
