After one of the guys at my club broke his bat, again (Tom will know who without me saying) and the bat being beyond repair he said I could "do whatever I want" with it. As my Ayrtek Scoop didn't really have any use I decided to make a catching bat as the bat still goes pretty well. And here we go next to a new, full sized Ayrtek.

Your best bet if you can, is to shorten the handle a bit too. Makes the whole thing more manoeuvrable, meaning its easier to hit one handed with a mitt in the other hand
