Title: How many off the shelf companies produce....
Post by: 400notout on May 01, 2013, 08:07:53 AM
A Newbery GT Shape - i.e no concaving, very high middle, smallish edges?

Obviously custom makers could do this for me, I'm just curious as to what off the shelf bats could be similar?

My thought is more than likely to go custom, I had a beaut from Chase, but it was a used one of Dans own collection (or so I was told).

Unfortunately the off the shelf ones all have a big price tag... But then again you can pick them up in the shop! Becuase I am based in Scotland, there is little to no selection of cricket shops.
If I picked an off shelf, at least there would be 7/8 of them on offer at one point to pick up and swing about!
