Never really thought about this but Dhoni must know all the Indian players like the back of his hand. Huge advantage for CSK.

But what is really more interesting is the analysis of Dhoni's technique. Do you think it's possible to train yourself to play like him? I usually open but a delayed train forced me to play in the middle order last weekend. Walked in with five overs left and couldn't connect for nuts. Scratched out twenty three of twenty five balls with one solitary four :(

Make that seven or eight overs left, actually. Point is I soaked up the strike at first and then couldn't find the boundary at all. Luckily most of my 'big hits' landed well in front of the deep fielders and we could scamper some runs and my partner landed a few lusty blows in the last couple of overs. I HATE slooooow bowling. I stretch forward and watch the grass grow as the ball takes its own sweet time to arrive.
