Just got a little too excited as the UPS van pulled in, i almost yanked the parcel out of the drivers hand.
The suppliers who do Nike (and also Aero) in the UK said they would be sending samples of the 2014 Nike shoe when they got them in August/September.
I simply couldn't wait that long after seeing pictures. I saw the black ones that someone posted on CBF and decided to take the plunge into the world of Indian retail to get hold of a pair in a sensible colour.
Ordered on Wednesday 1st May, free delivery (with email updates on the location of my order throughout the process) and they arrived today, would have been yesterday were it not for the bank holiday. I had to pay import duty on them, but it was worth it. I'm chuffed.
Insanely comfortable (i knew they would be having owned numerous pairs of Nike Lunar Glide trainers) well made, and whilst not everyones cup of tea, i think they look cool. They also come with a set of blanks for playing on hard/artificial surfaces.

Will be wearing them tonight in a T20 match.
I won't reveal where i got them from as obviously i would prefer you to buy them from me when they launch in the UK after the Lords trade show in September. What i will say is, if you really want a pair now, and are prepared to trawl the net for a few hours, and take a few risks on the way, you will find them, just as i did.

For some reason, I want these! Something different about them that I really like. Happy that it all went well for you with no major hiccups. Hope that they serve you well mate :)
-
I really like these and have spent the last 30 mins looking online to no avail
I now know what my evening will consist of tonight

Found them :)
Look decent Jake, never fancied Nike before but they look pretty good
-
Right after a few helpful PM;s i have found these.
ANyone have a rough guess at what these will be priced at in the UK? I'm guessing around the £80-£90 mark?
Also, import tax is 20% isnt it?

They would be replacing Flywire Century II which are £75, accounting inflation till 2014 I would guess they'd be over £90.

Last place I looked they were 7295Rs, which is about £87, so you are talking around £100 including customs.
-
INR 7040 (84 GBP) on the site where you get a USD 20 signing up bonus and free shipping. that gives you an idea of how much it would cost. not sure about customs
-
Wore them tonight, very lightweight, comfortable, and definitely turned a few heads.
-
Ohh really not a fan of them. So gaudy... This isn't basketball...
-
Sorry to bring up old topic anyone know of any other indian retailers online who stock these as Jabong seem to be out of size 9 and want to get a pair ordered this week thanks.
-
My next trip to the motherland (India) will see me get some of these.
-
I still want these desperately! Having to wait is painful
-
would deffo think about moving from my adidas 22yds for these!
-
Splendid looking kicks them bad boys.
-
The big retailers will be getting a limited number of these pre-Christmas.
Most of us mortals will be waiting for stock until Jan/Feb.
Good reports on all fronts about them so far, and mine are just fantastic. I'm backing these to be great sellers in 2014.
-
Is there an indication of price? Any chance of a discount if you have already pre-ordered a bat from Vitas..? ;)

look very good , will they be bringing out a bowling boot version ?

We are just finalising pricing now for next UK seasdon (and pre-Xmas). You'll see these arriving in the Aussie and Kiwi cricket websites very soon. Pricing down under will be LunarAccelerate (A$180/NZ$199), LunarDominate (A$160/NZ$$179) and Potential (A$80/NZ$99). All these include GST/VAT so if you were buying for delivery in the UK you wouldn't be paying that but of course you'd cop VAT on the way into the UK.
Expected prices that you will pay in the UK will be LunarAccelerate (GBP99), LunarDominate (GBP95) and Potential (GBP49 in senior sizes and GBP39 in youth sizes). Our RRPs are higher than that but with the normal retailer practice of "discounting" them, this is likely to be the prices you will pay.

I think these prices are pretty high given the prices of comparable shoes, personally
I would have thought that £10-15 cheaper would sell more units.

Anyone know anywhere in Sydney that will be selling these in December/January?
-
Got mine last week they are the comfiest cricket shoe I've ever had the lunar technology like on the Nike trainers makes a lot of difference.
