Title: What do you all recommend?.
Post by: Butterfingerz on May 18, 2013, 10:45:06 AM
Looking to buy some new gloves, comfort and protection most important is protection but instead of lots of colours I'm wanting some which are white/neutral.

Anyone any suggestions?

Only came across the brand this week, but if you can handle a minimal amount of pink Neon cricket have cracking gloves for only £35. Test level protection and pittards palms. Thinking about a pair myself.

Neon Cricket. Sorry, mustn't have made that clear. Here's the link to their gloves - http://www.neoncricket.co.uk/Batting_Gloves/p1775695_8403491.aspx (http://www.neoncricket.co.uk/Batting_Gloves/p1775695_8403491.aspx)

Hi, if you can fit into small mens, here's some nice gloves which are pretty minimalistic, and are pittards! There's a little bit of green, and I'm not sure what kind of pittards they are, but they do offer decent grip, but aren't quite as comfy as cougar ones! (At least that's what I can tell from the pictures!) I might get a few pairs, as my friend is always complaining that his gloves are too big!

I completely understand that maybe you're abit frustrated, but that's no reason to start throwing **** around. You're entitled to your opinion, but you don't need to broadcast it and possibly hurt the reputation of a company when all that is really need it abit of understanding for someone's situation.

He's doing a fine job taking care of his company's reputation himself. And no, you've no idea - frustration doesn't even cover how I feel. I could say worse, but I'm not. Again, I know I'm not alone here.

I don't know the full inns and outs of Andy's issues (it's none of my business), but what i can say is that I've had dealings with him over the last year/ year and a half and I've got nothing bad to say about him. He's a very knowledgeable/ helpful guy, i'm sure he's resolving your "issues", have you called him rather than messaging?

I don't think tainting someones reputation on a public forum (where he cant defend himself) constructive or helpful to anyone.

Right well I'm not being funny mate, a bad review is one thing, slagging someone off is another. If you had personal issues you'd expect someone to have the common curtiosy understand too. There's no need to air your dirty laundry in public with a back handed comment. Andy is running a business but business isn't everything sometimes

BlankBat gloves and Ayrtek gloves are superb. Both minimalistic, of the highest quality and very good protection
