Title: Avoid having your money stolen.
Post by: Talisman on August 07, 2009, 09:20:28 PM
As a fan of eBay I felt that I should point out that a certain member of this forum and eBay would like to try and steal your money by lying to you on his listing and selling fake products. It is up to you to choose to believe his constant lies but I think that petty criminals like him will carry on cheating honest people of of their hard earned cash until caught and punished.

The photo's of the bat with the fake stickers he bought are blurred to prevent you from seeing the truth.

The photo's of the soft goods are clear but only show the Import versions of the goods rather than the Pro only crap he states them to be.

You take the model name off the real bat and add the Ricky Ponting one, the rest are then genuine and it looks the part. Who buys a real bat to sell for a loss. Plus you lie about the gloves and pads. Maybe you would like to think this is a case of the boy who cried wolf but the listing a pack of lies, the same with the Adidas listing.

You have a track record of selling fake stickers and stickered up bats, or did I miss that?

ok yes i accept that i was wrong in the past i know that and now wen i sticker a bat i CLEARLY STATE IT and i didnt change the model sticker you are lying, and i didnt buy it at a loss and selling it for cheaper as you dont know wot price it is going for yet, in addition if u must know i have been getting many kookaburras cheap from an actual sports shop which is where i got this from i will take a photo of the receipt tomo, and yes i accept in the past i was wrong and deserve slander for that before and yes it is probably the boy who cried wolf, but mate ur no angel as many many people have had runnings with you and jumping to conclusions like that is not right and im not selling on the forum, so sorry wot i have done in the past but that was a bit harsh when the bat is clearly real

cheers aidy

Not taking sides here at all, but The kookaburra stickers are real, so for that, im saying its a real kookaburra and aidy is not in the wrong. I have got 5 team mates using kahuna's (2009 models) and that bat is real. Regarding the pads and gloves, I have never paid any attention to the big brand pads so dont know the prices etc, but from what I can see, there is nothing wrong with that listing. Everyone does bad things in their past, and from what I can see, the gear Aidy has been selling recently has been genuine. I really cant see what the problem is.

The gloves are not Aussie versions, lies.
The palms are not Pittards because they are the cheaper Indian versions that I bought and I'm selling mine for £85 for the Pads and Gloves inc P+P, I'm selling the UK versions for £95 inc P+P because that is the real cost.
The bat has blemishes in the face and the Kookaburra rep stated to my face when we had a chat a while back that the only difference between the RP version and the rest was that it had to be 100% blemish free.

How about I buy the goods on the listing and give then to Kookaburra, if they say they are as described you keep the money, if they are not as described I keep the kit and you refund the money.

Why dig a deeper hole, you bought the gloves and pads from www.onlinestockist.com (http://www.onlinestockist.com) and know they are Indian versions, nothing wrong with that so why make up a story about the palms being changed because the Pro's don't use Pittards? You are out to con people.

Post by: aidy1098 on August 07, 2009, 10:13:48 PM
no im not pros dont use pittards as the kookaburra pro gloves i got (bladeones) are not pittards which wer directly from kook

You sure you did not buy them from the same place as do not have the Pittards palm either.....

Funny you state that as Ricky himself seems to use the Pittards leather, maybe you should point out he is not a Pro in your books.

The Blade runner does not have Pittards, what was your point again?

Tonight I am Ricky Ponting, if a little taller and heavier and better looking.....

Aidy, your point was?
Title: Re: Avoid having your money stolen.

I think he was referring to the ice sub zero styled gloves he had that were in blade colours. They were supposedly pro edition and did not have pittard leather.

Ahh, well I had one of Ricky's bats but did not sell it to Aidy, maybe he feels left out. Most Pro gloves are standard fare, pads tend to have a bit extra in the shin, bats range from shop versions to completely different makes and shapes. Ricky's are actually made nearly to the stock shape, just better willow and pressing. Today's was grade 4 willow, looked lovely.

He was using grade 4 ?
Title: Re: Avoid having your money stolen.
Post by: Talisman on August 08, 2009, 07:27:14 AM
Yes, the willow was more than 50% heartwood across the face.

How did he prove they were not fake? They were bought from Ebay from a seller reknowned for fakes.

Off topic slightly, heartwood is grade 4? I assume it performs better though which is why the pro's use it.
Title: Re: Avoid having your money stolen.
Post by: GJ on August 25, 2009, 07:05:56 PM
No its just that the bat was over 50% heartwood, making it grade 4.

well going by other peoples comments anyway. im sure aidy is fully aware that if he sells dodgy bats again he will be fully banned from the forum so just leave it at that guys.
