Hi all,
I know its not about a custom bat but does anyone know where all these companies get their bats from?? (Not the ones that make their own of course!) Just always wondered as I'm after a couple of bats for the season (mine are on the way out) and was thinking if I just contacted the supplier direct I might get a deal on 3 or 4! (Not fussed about stickers, normally just use a blank bat anyway), also preferably English made but happy to look abroad as well...
Thanks

Bhuna, all of the batmakers on the forum make their own bats. The wholesale suppliers won't accept approaches from individuals for one or two items, who do not have a commercial set-up, and there aren't many of those. The larger UK brands mostly make their own in the UK, so you aren't going to be able to bypass them, and again, most won't allow buying direct, so you have to go through a retailer, see GN, GM, etc. You can go direct to Hunts County, but it is still Hunts County. Otherwise you will need to contact the Indian makers.
I suggest that if you want to contact the makers directly to get your bats, you choose the likes of an Aldred, SAF, H4L, RK, Red Ink, Vulcan, Choice, Kippax, etc. who make their own.

you wont get anywhere with 3 or 4 bats you will need about 20 or 50!

Kippax do buy one egt one 1/2 price and a deal on 5 bats and 10 bats.
They make some decnet stuff.

Wrong topic?
I think he means a supplier will have a minimum order of 40-50 bats?
So you could buy 50 and sell 46? :D

If the world worked like that, many people would be out of a job!
