Evening all.
I know some of you will have longer trips for away games than this, but as I've not had more than a 20 minute drive this weekend may be a shock to my system. Saturday is a 45 minute drive from my home ground, and as I have to swing by and pick up a teammate before I meet that takes it to about 50 minutes each way. Follow that with a 45 minute drive into the New Forest on Sunday I've worked out I will be doing about 130 miles over the weekend. That will comfortably be my longest journey.
Special circumstances aside (eg a forum match or a tour) what kind of distances do you guys have to cover over a weekend??

Last weekend, I had a 3 hour all round journey on saturday (1 and a half each way) and then a 2 hour and half all round journey on sunday (1 and a quarter each way).

I can stop moaning then I guess haha
It will be interesting to see if the people I give a lift there will be brave enough to come back with me or not

2011/2012 I had to drive 110 miles from home to the home ground. Then some of the away games were up to 2 hours away.. So for a saturday league game I'd have travelled 4 hours by the time I played :(

Hmm
regular weekend = about 80km total
Provincial away games on average = 900kms total
longest was 2800km return trip, left Thursday night, recovered Friday, played 2 t-20s on Saturday and a 50 over on Sunday. left Sunday night and got back Monday afternoon.

Our longest journey is about and hour and a half each way. Most of our fixtures are fairly local though.
We've got 3 games over the bank holiday, we rearranged last weekends Saturday game to this Monday due a players wedding we all attended.
Home saturday, luckily
Peterborough to Corby on Sunday - 25 miles, approx 30 mins each way
Peterborough to Sawston on Monday - 50 miles, approx 1 hour each way
Also had a 20 minute drive for a midweek cup game out in the sticks on Monday, and a local away fixture in the Peterborough Midweek league this evening, it rained after we batted :D
Come Tuesday I'll be sick of cricket.

If you play for Peterborough I wouldn't blame you for getting as far away as humanly possible!
